Dairy producers
Milk, cream, cheese and yoghurt from the factory out to stores and wholesalers.
Dairy, meat, produce and chilled food, held cold from your dock to theirs. 12 refrigerated bodies running out of Hillside, Colac and Albury.
Cold transport
Chilled food has no margin for error. A couple of hours out of temperature and a pallet of milk, meat or salad is a write-off, and so is the customer’s trust. JB Parttime runs refrigerated transport across Victoria for food businesses that can’t afford that, and has been carrying fresh food since 2008.
12 of our 25 vehicles carry refrigerated bodies. The body is cold before your product goes in, the doors stay shut between drops, and the load arrives at the store, kitchen or distribution centre at the temperature it left you.
Runs leave from our bases in Hillside, in Melbourne’s north west, and Colac, in the west, so chilled freight to Geelong, Warrnambool, Shepparton or the coast starts close to where it’s going.

What you need from a carrier
Any truck can move a box. Moving food that has to stay cold, on time, to the far end of the state is a different job.
Not an insulated van with an ice pack. Almost half our fleet runs refrigerated bodies built for chilled food.
Temperature set before the product goes in, doors shut between drops, and the load handed over cold.
A second base in Colac puts the Western District and the coast within a short run, not hours out of the city.
Goods in transit and marine cargo insurance on every load, plus WorkCover for the drivers.
Clean, food-grade bodies and drivers who handle dairy, meat and fresh produce every night of the week.
